ave;new is a project that started around July 2003. Musical stylings of ave;new include j-pop, trance, denpa, and more. The unit behind ave;new has been involved in a variety of music production, some of which includes BGM. Their idea is to create music that releases the expression of the image/scene (for games).
Main creator a.k.a.dRESS does the most arrangement, instrumentation, producing, lyrics, etc. Other creators of ave;new are Hidemi Nemoto (根本日出実), Miyuki Matsushita (松下美由紀), Abe Masaori.
Performing staff are: Sakura Saori (佐倉紗織), used most often for her cute voice that fits well with many ave;new songs. Miwa Osaki (大咲美和) and YU-KI are the other females of ave;new and possess deeper voices. Kent is at the moment, the only performing male member (aside from Tatsuya Uzuki [羽月達也], who did vocals on the chorus of 雪化粧). He has also been used as the rap parts in BRACE;d, which is a duo composed of a.k.a.dRESS and Miki Kawase (川瀬未希).
ave;new is in the works of releasing their 3rd album「virtu」while their 2nd album「suite」was released on December 29th 2005.「inlay」marked their album debut, on October 25th 2004.
